FCCLA Conference in Town

It s the leadership revolution The Family Career and Community Leaders of America also known as the FCCLA met today at the All Seasons Arena Students from all over the area met today to elect new officers interact with other local students and learn some self defense moves The purpose of the meeting was to teach the students about leadership and how to live a better and stronger life without violence Courtney Feickert State Officer Well this year one of our main goals is to focus on our national program Stop the Violence and that deals with bullying and abuse and stuff like that So we re having the one guy come in and show some self-defense mechanisms The Breakdown is coming and just kind of giving you a good message about how to become a better person That s what FCCLA is all about just becoming a better person and strengthening yourself The mission of the FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through family and consumer sciences education
